Did You Miss Our National Night Out Neighborhood Picnic?
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the GHNA National Night Out Neighborhood Picnic! It was a wonderful evening of neighbors coming together for food, music, games, and community. This year we added Enchiladas from Garcias, Pinata for the kiddos, Disc Golf and Cornhole.
A Special Thank You
We are grateful to everyone who helped make the evening possible:
Mario & Todd for providing live music and making the evening extra fun.
Dan Champine and his Executive Assistant, Elaine, for joining us.
Zoe Otero Martinez, Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the City of Albuquerque, for spending time with our neighborhood.
East Mountain Wildfire Prevention Association for joining us and sharing valuable community resources.
Smith’s Market for generously donating water and paper goods.
Kailee Tietjen for running the free cotton candy stand—a big hit with the kids!
GHNA for providing the enchiladas and raffle gift cards.
And a huge thank you to our GHNA members and volunteers who helped set up games, arrange food tables, run electrical power, clean up, and pitch in wherever needed.
Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our neighborhood special—neighbors showing up, helping out, and getting to know one another.
