On behalf of the Glenwood Hills Neighborhood Assoc, I want to wish
you all a Happy New Year.
The association looks forward to another year, advocating for our
neighborhood, We continue to work with the city to establish some
form of traffic calming on Montgomery in front of the shopping
center. We will continue to lobby the parks and rec. for improvements
to our park. And, as always security is a priority. The single best safety
precaution is to watch out for each other. Be aware of suspicious
activity in the area. Report events to 242-cops and post notices on
Nextdoor.
The association organizes regular chiefs overtime Police patrols in our
neighborhood. These are uniformed police officers who take 4 hour
shifts cruising our neighborhood on a random schedule. The cost for
these patrols is currently approx $73 per hour.. And is paid for with
your voluntary Association dues. Please consider paying your
voluntary annual dues of $100 to support the police patrols as well
as other neighborhood activities. Visit our website at
