No GHN homes are affected. o A home in GH has been approved by the City for use as an assisted- living facility. § The home has been a single family rental, currently rented to a company that manages assisted- living facilities, and the company has taken this action. § Commercial usage of homes in GHN is not consistent with GHNA covenants § Bert will f/u on the matter o Apr 30 is the date of the Great American Clean Up – the City will pick up more/ different thrash that day – good “clean out” day for GHN residents o Directors and Officers liability insurance coverage issue: still awaiting legal input and new quote from Manual Lujan Insurance Co. · Treasury Report: Bill N o GHNA Board now has a new bank account with Wells Fargo o Bert & Bill (only) have on- line access and check- writing authorization o Balance: $15485.80, transferred to the new account o No bills are outstanding o GHNA membership is at 36% § Up from past 30 – 32% § Annual GHNA membership reminders are currently being sent out o Due date for GHNA Board tax filing is 15 May o Proposed 2011 budget – pending for Apr meeting · GHNA Activity/ Committee Reports: o District 8 Coalition: Bert § Scheduled for 24 Mar § Consideration of “swapping” audits among neighborhood associations § General information sharing/ networking particularly related to working with the city and county o Hospitality/Welcome: Carol R § Annual GHNA- sponsored Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Sunset Park on 23 Apr at 1 PM; set up/ egg hiding etc at 11 AM · Signs/ advertising goes up the preceding Wednesday · Usual turnout has been about 100 kids, and many parents · “Volunteers” will assist with eggs, etc at/ following next GHNA Board meeting · Projected cost/ requested expense is$300 o Bill N moved/ Larry W seconded allocation of this amount. Meeting was called to order by President Roger Cook
Board members in attendance: Roger Cook, Roger Abbott, Burt Guerrero, Dave Bentley, Carole Rising, Jack Oestreicher, Woody Owens, Steve Ciepiela
Members absent: Nick Manole
Sgt. Natalie Sanchez gave a police report. Sgt. Sanchez reported that there were 3 crimes in our area in February 2010. Two of these were residence burglaries and one was an auto burglary. She reported, per our request, that the police would try to notify us by email of these crimes so that we can notify the neighborhood.
President’s Report:
Minutes of the February 2, 2009 Board Meeting were approved by the board. Roger said that the 2010 budget report will be presented at the next meeting.
Treasury Report: Roger Abbott reported that the February Treasury report was posted on the web site.
District 8 Coalition Report: Steve reported that the DOZ plan is near death.
Hospitality Report: No report
Environmental/Landscaping Report: Steve reported that the small medium divider on Manitoba was finished.
Neighborhood Patrol: Marc reported that he has set up the patrols for March and April.
Web Site Report: Roger A reported no change in the group email list.
Garden Club Report: Carole reported that the last meeting had 11 attendees. The next meeting will be held at the substation on March 31.
Block Captain Report: Burt reported that we now have 5-7 new block captains. Burt also reported on the cost of having an unarmed patrol company provide a day time patrol. Triton Security patrol would cost $16 per hour. Steve moved that we invite a patrol representative to make a patrol proposal at our next meeting. The motion was seconded and passed.

New Business: Carole reported that the Easter day egg hunt is set for Saturday April 3rd starting at 1pm. Set-up would start at 12:00. Carole moved that we authorize a $300 fund for this event. The motion was seconded and approve. It was suggested that we set up a table at the event to sign up new association members and group emails. Roger A said that he would provide the table.
Woody suggested that we purchase “movable” signs that can be placed at the entrances to Glenwood Hills that could be used to announce Glenwood Hill’s events such as the annual meetings, egg hunt, etc. Woody was asked to obtain information on cost of these signs.
Next Meeting: The next board meeting will be held April 6, 2010 at the police substation at 6:30pm.

Minutes of the Feb 3, 2009 board meeting were approved by the board.
Officer Chavez, APD, reported on the www.crimereports.com web site.
President’s Report: Roger Cook said that he preformed some “clean up” on the web site. He asked other people responsible for web site inputs to send any new inputs or “clean ups” to Roger Abbott. He reported on recent major updates on the web page. He also reported on the efforts that he and Roger Abbott had done on the “Advertize with Us” page. See the Web Site for his report.
Dave Bentley reported that the January 2009 expenditures/income is published on the web site.
Burt Guerrero reported on the Block Captains program. He said that approximately 260 people have signed up for the program. He said that he will update the Block Captain Maps for the web site. He also said that a police officer would come to a Block Captain group meeting provided ½ the members of a block group were present.
Roger Abbott reported on Advertize with Us web page. He reviewed a proposed ad page (as seen on the web page). He said that the main emphasis of this page would be to provide residents with a short list of service providers that have solid references in our neighborhood. Secondarily, our neighborhood association would get a small bump in annual income. He also reviewed a proposed ad rates and an Advertising Ad agreement form. Jack Oestreicher moved that we accept this proposal. The motion passed.
Carole reported on the Garden Club. She said the next meeting would be on April 25th. Carole also reported on our annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s hunt will be on Saturday, April 11th, starting at 1pm. She asked that the GWHNA board members support an “egg stuffing” event on April 7th. She also Moved that up to $300 be authorized for this event. The motion was approved.
